Chef/Kitchen Assistant - 35 hours per week 

Hour of work - 7 hours a day, 5 days a week to include weekends. No split shifts or evenings.

THE NOSHERY CO. CAFE & RESTAURANT | Kitchen Porter

Kitchen Porter - 17 hours per week

Hours of work:

Saturday and Sundays (8 hours)

Hours of work 12.30pm - 4.30pm

Job duties include washing pots & pans, crockery and cutlery using our potwash machine, clearing and cleaning tables, emptying kitchen and potwash bins, putting away clean pots and cleaning down the machine and floors.

SPRINGFIELDS DESIGNER OUTLET | Housekeeper

Housekeeper - 28 hours

Purpose of the Role

The Housekeeper’s primary role is to ensure the assignment is clean and hygienic for the general public. Housekeepers need to make sure there are no hazards that could put the general public in danger. You will need to be able to respond to any situations in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

To carry out all allocated cleaning tasks as per the site’s cleaning specification ensuring that:

· Refuse is collected from waste streams and not allowed to overflow.

· Remove all food and liquid spillages as soon as they are reported or found.

· Clean all internal, external and public areas within the Centre and Car Parks.

· Remove dust and debris from mats and carpets by suction cleaning and machine washing      as necessary.

· Remove dust from all surfaces within reach.

· Machine scrub floors.

· Use road sweeper in car parks and service yards (requires full driving licence)

· Machine scrub external floor areas as necessary.

· Jet wash external areas as necessary.

· Be aware of and use the appropriate equipment for the specific cleaning task.

· Good understanding of COSHH 

· Carry out any other reasonable requests made by the Line Manager.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience 

Candidates will be required to demonstrate the following:

Essential

1. Experience in the provision of housekeeping services in a busy environment visited by members of the public.

2. Able to demonstrate a good level of customer service.

3. Ability to work on own initiative and deal with demanding situations.

4. Honest and reliable work ethic.

5. Well presented.

6. Good interpersonal and communication skills.

7. Able to work in both/internal and external environments.

8. Willingness to partake in further onsite training.

9. Flexible working approach to work patterns and shift times.

10. Physically fit.

Desirable

1. Basic Knowledge of H&S legislation.

2. Body fluids trained.

3. Full Driving Licence

4. Experience of operating baling  machinery
