Everyone is welcome at Springfields - here is some guidance and information to help guests with additional needs have a fantastic experience, whether you're shopping, dining, exploring or staying overnight.

Wheelchair Hire

A limited selection of wheelchairs are available to hire for no charge at Springfields. As these are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, we recommend booking in advance by calling 01775 760909 or using our contact form. Wheelchairs can also be booked by visiting the Information Point.

Please note that there are no mobility scooters available for hire.

On arrival to collect your wheelchair, please visit the Information Point where if available, a wheelchair will be provided in temporary exchange for a form of ID (e.g. driving license, bus pass, etc.)

Getting Around

Springfields is ideally designed for all customers including those with mobility issues.

  • Stores: The centre is predominantly on a flat terrain, and all stores including the Garden Centre are on one level, with no steps.
  • Parking: Parking spaces in all 3 car parks are at ground level.
  • Hotel: The Travelodge (opposite South Car Park) is on higher levels can be accessed via a customer lift.
  • Adventure Land: Some activities may not be suitable for those with mobilitiy issues. Please contact ahead of your visit.

Disabled Parking

All car parks feature disabled parking bays at Springfields, which can be utilised when a Blue Badge is displayed. Please note that a standard charge applies to all car park users. More details

WCs

Disabled toilets are available at:

  • Next to the Information Point at the front of the mall
  • In Festival Gardens, behind The Craft Outlet
  • In Adventure Land, next to Springy's American Diner

Disabled customer toilets may also be accessed in Subway, Costa Coffee, The Kitchen, Caffe Nero and the Home & Garden Centre.

Baby changing facilities are also available in The Kitchen, Caffe Nero, Costa Coffee and the Home & Garden centre.
