Springfields Designer Outlet & Leisure has confirmed that FatFace will no longer be trading from the centre later this summer, as the retailer withdraws from outlet centres and continues to focus on its evolving UK retail strategy.

FatFace has been strengthening its presence on the UK high street as part of its wider business strategy, investing in selected locations and enhancing its customer experience. As part of this strategic direction, the brand has reviewed its retail portfolio, with Springfields being one of the locations affected.

The decision is specific to FatFace’s retail strategy and is not reflective of the continued health of Springfields, which remains one of the East of England’s leading outlet shopping destinations.

With more than 55 premium outlet stores, award-winning Springfields Gardens and a year-round programme of events, Springfields continues to invest in providing an outstanding destination for visitors. Discussions regarding the future of the space are already progressing, and further announcements will be made in due course.
